Every good concept has to be conceived, then mulled over and then remain fluid until all the specified items are confirmed. This black & white visual illustrates where my creative process landed!
Before
“IT TAKES A VILLAGE”……
It certainly took a “Village” to execute my vision: contractors, painters, wallpaper hangers, electricians along with donated floor coverings, furnishings and carefully edited accessories by the event’s sponsors: OKA, ARHAUS, VISUAL COMFORT & others.
After
The result was like a symphony: a cohesive & luxurious room in 48 square feet that was both functional (provided areas to work, sleep and entertain) and fashionable. It combined layers of texture from the wallpaper to the ribbed carpet, to the lacquered hi sheen of the olive green ceiling.
Pops of color and a velvet paneled wall provided a quiet moment between the very dramatic side wall treatments. And, it all started with the wallpaper……Ahhhh, Christian LaCroix can do that.
